Charming stay in a quiet location

The hotel is nestled in a fantastic location with easy access to groceries and restaurants, while being actually quiet for a good night's sleep. A complimentary public transport card made exploring the beautiful surroundings easy.

The internet connectivity was inconsistent, so make sure to check if you need reliable Wi-Fi for work.

Single room with shower. An electric kettle, central heating, and TV - very useful. Ideal and exceptionally nice location for our visit to Moe Museum of Emptiness just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel. Walking distance to shopping centres and a central market across the street.

We booked a deluxe room and it was bright, exceptionally comfortable beds. It was convenient having an electric kettle, a fridge, and central heating. The location was particularly good and marvellous close to the old town...

The breakfast offered fresh fruits and fair trade jams, but the shared bathroom setup could be inconvenient at times.

The stay was great. The hotel was straightforward and I truly enjoyed the streets of St. Gallen. The staff was very kind providing the information. The room was amazingly comfortable and included central heating, multi-channel TV, and a refrigerator. It had a tub in the nice bathroom. The great location was minutes from a significant medieval monastic library. Close to a cathedral and a theater, it was a huge bonus...

The room was bright and new-fashioned, with with shower and bathroom, for example. The staff was helpful, and requests were handled quickly. Magnificent location of the hotel close to restaurants and shops.

The room had a decent shower setup that worked perfectly fine and was clean throughout my stay. Free public transportation cards made getting around the area easy and saved me some credits.

Had to haul my luggage up a narrow spiral staircase to reach the reception, which didn't help getting in after a long trip. Internet couldn't hold a stable connection for video calls, definitely a hassle if you need to work. The shared bathroom wasn't ideal during peak hours, leading to a bit of a wait sometimes. The noise from nearby rooms was noticeable enough to disrupt sleep.

Excellently located one flight up, my room was clean and compact. The breakfast room offered a satisfying spread, with warm service from the female manager making mornings more pleasant. The room had a nice reading light, perfect for catching up on some reading without strain. Free public transport cards made it easy to explore the area without extra costs. On the downside, only one shared shower for all three floors led to minor inconveniences, especially with more guests around. A bit of claustrophobia arose due to the small size of the room and bathroom arrangement, but it suited my basic needs. Noise from neighboring rooms occasionally disrupted my sleep as thin walls allowed sounds to travel too easily. This is a solid choice for business travelers and those on a sightseeing trip looking for a budget-friendly option.

This charming accommodation offers a fantastic location, surrounded by shops and eateries while remaining surprisingly quiet. The location was perfect for exploring local cafes and taking in the amazing cathedral. The free transportation card was a bonus. The staff were super friendly. The breakfast was more than enough to start the day. Definitely recommend it for a fun group getaway!

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, made the room a bit stuffy at times. Thankfully, we dealt with it, but keep that in mind if you're visiting during warmer months.

The breakfast was fantastic, with friendly staff who even asked me what i wanted to drink. The location is super convenient, close to the city center and train station. Super tidy, and the room was functional for my needs. Loved that i got a free transport card for the city too!

I had a good experience with the cozy, comfortable room and the complimentary transportation card, made getting around super easy. For relaxation, there's a lovely lounge area where you can unwind or enjoy a nice coffee in the corner nook. The only drawback was the shared bathroom situation, but it didn't dampen my stay-just keep that in mind 😊

In my wife's opinion, more family-friendly amenities are needed.
